In order to establish online presence successfully, you must follow a marketing plan. In this article, I’ll reveal how to do a marketing plan in three simple steps.

How to do a marketing plan in 3 steps

Define your audience

Before you promote your product or service online, you must define who is your audience. The following questions you must ask yourself

  • What is their age?
  • Where do they live?
  • What is their gender?
  • What are they interested in? (Books they read, events they attend, etc)

If you promote your brand or business to anyone, you’ll waste time and money. There are millions of sites you can advertise your business online.

Define ways to generate leads and low dollar sales

Before you promote your offer, you must either get their contact information and acquire your prospect as a customer with small dollar offers. You can generate leads in the following ways by giving away a free guide, advise prospects to take a fun quiz or assessment and a free video course or webinar. There are several tools you can use that’s applied to your offer, such as LeadPages or TryInteract.

Define best ways to advertise your product or service

You must establish a relationship with your audience by engaging with them. You shouldn’t immediately promote your product or service to prospects. You can engage with your audience with a blog post, content video, or a lead magnet (giving away something for free in exchange for the prospect’s contact information)
